On February 28th Utku Bozdağ and Petra Bialkó held an introductory metaphor analysis workshop called (De)Coding the Language of the Pandemic. Participants engaged in practical exercises to uncover the significant role metaphors play in public discourse, particularly in the context of the Covid pandemic. This workshop was suitable for students who wanted to broaden their understanding of metaphorical interpretation and analysis for research purposes. With the guidance of the workshop hosts, students explored both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Utku Bozdağ és Bialkó Petra február 28-ai „(De)Coding the Language of the Pandemic” című workshopján a hallgatók betekintést nyerhettek a metaforaelemzés világába. A jelenlévők olyan gyakorlatokon vehettek részt, amelyek segítségével megismerhették a metaforák sajtószövegekben betöltött szerepét, különös tekintettel a pandémia összefüggésében. A workshop azokat szólította meg, akik érdekelődnek a metaforák kutatási célokra való felhasználása iránt, legyen szó akár kvalitatív, akár kvantitatív kutatási irányokról.
